| 4 | Hourly production capacity | e.g. 5 m³/h or daily output | Decides the membrane quantity and pump size |
| 5 | Local voltage and frequency | e.g. 380V/50Hz or 480V/60Hz | Prevents on-site startup failure |
| 6 | Delivery address | Seaport or project location | Helps estimate shipping cost |
| 7 | Water intake conditions | Direct seawater/well/tank, elevation difference, intake distance | Determines if a booster pump is needed |
| 8 | Power supply situation | Grid stable/ Solar available/ Generator | Decides on a pump motor and energy solution |
| 9 | Delivery timeline required | Expected shipment or arrival time | Affects production schedule |
| 10 | Online guidance required | Yes / No | If yes, please provide the language you need |
Special Notes on Water Extraction
The water intake method for a seawater desalination system directly impacts its overall design. Common water intake methods include open-sea intake, beach-well intake, and reservoir intake. Different water intake methods correspond to different construction difficulties and operating costs. We recommend that you confirm the water intake plan and equipment installation location at the beginning of the project.
In addition, the equipment installation location is also crucial. Factors such as the distance and elevation difference between the water intake point and the equipment, and the availability of raw water pumps, pipelines, power supply, and other on-site infrastructure, all influence subsequent pump configuration and selection, pipeline layout, and overall cost.
Currently, we mainly provide seawater desalination equipment and system solutions, but typically do not include the construction of seawater intake projects. Therefore, we recommend that customers determine the water intake method, installation location, and site conditions in the early stages so that we can complete the subsequent system design and equipment configuration for you more efficiently.

Delivery Terms and Inquiry Suggestions
Common delivery terms include EXW, FOB, and CIF. Please tell us your preferred payment method in your communication. To help us understand your project background, we recommend using a company-named email address for inquiries. Please include your contact information, such as WhatsApp, in your inquiry.
Should Complete Technical Information Be Included in the Inquiry?
Yes. Many clients may not have water quality reports, clear effluent standards, or complete parameters when they contact us in the early stages of a project. We can still provide preliminary solution suggestions and budget quotes based on your existing basic information, such as water source type, estimated daily treatment capacity, application scenario, and installation location.
If a water quality analysis report is not yet available, we usually refer to typical local seawater or groundwater quality as a preliminary design basis. If the effluent standard is not yet determined, we can also recommend a suitable system configuration based on the actual use, such as drinking water, industrial water, or irrigation.
As project information becomes more complete, we will further optimize the system design and quotation to ensure the solution better meets your actual needs and budget.
FAQs
What if I don’t have a complete water quality report?
We assume the salinity of seawater to be below 40,000 ppm by default. Our equipment can handle seawater within this range. Unless it’s a special sea area with very poor water quality, in which case we will provide a targeted solution.
Generally, seawater intake water quality reports are not required, but providing the location of the sea area is better to help us determine the appropriate level. If it is brackish water, we recommend providing this information.
Can solar energy be used?
Can. The initial investment in solar desalination systems is usually higher, so it is necessary to take into account the sunshine duration, equipment operating time, water demand, and overall payback period of the project site. We will configure an appropriate number of solar panels and energy storage batteries based on actual operating conditions.
Furthermore, for areas where diesel is readily available or has low prices, we can also provide diesel power generation solutions. If the local grid power conditions are good, a hybrid power supply mode combining solar and grid power can also be adopted. Stable desalination operation can be achieved in both grid-connected and off-grid scenarios.
Can it be installed remotely without an engineer present?
Yes, please don’t worry. Operation and commissioning are very simple for most small and medium-sized seawater desalination plants. In general, local workers can easily complete the installation by simply following the operation manual and installation video we provide. We will record videos in your specified language and provide online tutorials, offering remote guidance for key steps. Therefore, installation can proceed normally without an engineer’s presence.
Please inform us of your project scale and whether online guidance is required when inquiring, and we will provide a corresponding solution.
Can you expedite the delivery?
Yes, please specify your expected delivery time. Our typical delivery times are as follows:
- Small flow equipment (e.g., residential/marine): 3–5 days
- Medium flow equipment (e.g., island/village water supply): 7–10 days
- Large flow equipment (e.g., industrial/municipal projects): 30–40 days or longer.
If the product is in stock, there is generally no waiting time, and it can be shipped quickly. For customized products, the delivery time will vary depending on the equipment model, processing capacity, and configuration requirements. For expedited delivery, we can discuss and negotiate. You will need to pay a portion of the expedited delivery fee, and we will complete the delivery within your specified timeframe.
Please specify your expected delivery date in your inquiry, and we will provide a clear expedited solution and corresponding fees.
How can the quality of the equipment be guaranteed?
Rest assured, our products are of superior quality.
Our seawater desalination equipment uses high-quality, corrosion-resistant materials, and our components include high-quality RO membranes, high-efficiency high-pressure pumps, and more. Normally, the equipment has a lifespan of 10-15 years. Our products have been implemented and are operating worldwide, and have been validated and recognized by a large number of customers.
Furthermore, we offer a one-year warranty on the entire machine. If the malfunction is caused by a product quality issue, it can be returned, replaced, or repaired free of charge, and no further fees will be charged. For problems caused by improper operation or external factors, we will also assist in repairs, charging only a minimal cost for parts.
